Jameela Jamil

With The Good Place coming to an end in 2020, there is no better time to invite one of its stars to “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.” Jameela Jamil would be right at home on the podcast.

Jamil stars as Tahani alongside Kristen Bell, one of the first guests in “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” history. The NBC sitcom was Jamil’s first acting job after a career as a television and radio host in England. Despite that lack of experience, Jamil is a standout performer on the show that boasts one of the best casts on television.

As you can tell from the clip above, Jamil makes for an ideal late night talk show guest. The actress has shared her fondness for Conan O’Brien and his weird brand of comedy. That means the two would likely get on just fine over the course of an hour long interview. She is certainly not shy about sharing what’s on her mind and the podcast would be even more free-flowing than appearing on TBS.

Beyond just her role on The Good Place, Jamil is one of the more fascinating celebrities for her social activism. She has been outspoken on topics such as mental health services, anxiety, and body image. Jamil launched the “I Weigh” campaign on Instagram that promotes body-positivity and self-worth.

There would be no shortage of topics to discuss with Jamil. The Good Place may be ending but fans of Jamil aren’t going anywhere.
