Should Last Week Tonight with John Oliver fans expect to see a brand new episode tonight on HBO?
It is Sunday and that means millions of lat night television fans will turn to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver to end their week on a high note. But with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, some late night shows are packing up for a break.
Shows like The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Conan are preparing to take the entire week off from new shows. Others like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show with James Corden will split the week between new and old episodes.
Saturday Night Live gave fans a new episode hosted by Will Ferrell on Nov. 23. The sketch show will then take next week off for Thanksgiving.
Over on HBO, there was no new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday, Nov. 22. But that had nothing to do with Thanksgiving and instead was the end of Bill Maher’s 17th season of Real Time.
So what about Last Week Tonight with John Oliver? Will it join Saturday Night Live in giving fans a new episode tonight or will it follow Real Time‘s lead?
Unfortunately, there is no new episode of Last Week Tonight for Nov. 24. In fact, the show ended its sixth season last week. Fans will have to wait until February 2020 to see John Oliver again.
