Bill Burr is known for his rants and the comedian seems to save his best material for Conan.

Nobody mixes rage with humor quite like Bill Burr. The comedian has been active since 1992 and much of his success is due to his distinctive voice and biting sense of humor.

With credits like Chappelle’s ShowBreaking Bad, and F is for Family to his name as well, Burr has earned fans for his work outside of stand-up as well. But the only place other than the stage where Burr is at his best his on Conan.

Burr first appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 1997 and followed that with a handful of stand-up sets. Since then, he has become perhaps Conan O’Brien’s best guest and one of the best late-night guests regardless of hosts.

But even when Burr is a guest of another show, be it Jimmy Kimmel Live! or The Tonight Show, fans want to see him on Conan. O’Brien is very much in tune with Burr and knows when to let the comedian go off and when to (try) to reel him in.

Fans were treated to more Burr and O’Brien earlier this year when Burr was a guest on the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast. Clips of Burr’s interviews from the past few years continue to be among Team Coco’s most popular on YouTube and routinely find their way to new viewers.

To help celebrate Burr’s new Netflix special Paper Tiger, Last Night On looks back at his five best rants from Conan. Covering everything from airlines to sports, nobody gets worked up quite like Bill Burr.
