The Daily Show with Trevor Noah examined evidence suggesting that President Donald Trump may want First Lady Melania Trump deported.

Finding out what exactly goes on inside the White House has been the underlying goal of countless journalists, voters, and even late night shows. The Daily Show with Trevor Noah has taken things one step further by looking at what is going on inside the relationship between President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The First Lady still remains something of a mystery to many Americans. She rarely makes public appearances or grants interviews. And when she does, it leads to heightened criticism that is both undeserved and deserved at some points.

In the world of late night, nobody has paid more attention to Melania Trump than The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. His mock interviews with the First Lady are some of his most popular bits.

But recently The Daily Show with Trevor Noah decided to take a closer look at the Trump marriage. Using the proposed changes to immigration policy offered by the Trump administration, Trevor Noah couldn’t help but connect a few dots that spell out bad news for Mrs. Trump.

Noah recaps all the evidence supporting his claim that President Trump wants to deport his wife. She barely spends any time at the White House, she has publicly shunned her husband, and she watched as President Trump was accused of paying hush money to a porn star. But what may be the final nail in the coffin is Melania being named “the most popular Trump.” We know the President does not like to be upstaged.

Noah then expertly explains how all the immigration policies are aimed at the First Lady. Illegal entry into the United States, shady “Einstein” visa grants, and chain migration are all areas President Trump has complained about and are also areas of suspicion when it comes to Melania’s Trump arrival from Slovenia.

The case is rested on the final point that denying government assistance to immigrants would mean no more taxpayer funded home for Melania in the White House. The #DontDeportMelania hashtag is the icing on the cake as Noah concludes his case.

This entire bit succeeds on the impressive tongue-in-cheek delivery from Trevor Noah. He also uses his own status as an immigrant to bring a different layer to the segment, stepping out of “character” to inform his relatives back home that he can’t get them into the country.

Of course, we all know that different sets of rules apply to different people. Still, First Lady Melania Trump may now find herself getting the same treatment that The Daily Show with Trevor Noah gives the rest of her family a little more often now.
