Last Night On makes its picks for the five guests late night fans should be excited to see this week.

Mondays don’t have to be all bad especially if you are a fan of late night television. It means that a new week of shows is ahead. And this week is packed with more big name celebrities appearing as guests.

The summer has been a tricky time of year when it comes to late night. Most shows have taken some time off but for different periods, leaving some fans wondering when and if they would get new episodes. Now that we’re getting to the second half of August, most shows are back to regular schedules.

However, Conan will be off all week. Fans can still get a fix of Conan O’Brien’s comedy via his podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.” While season one is over, new episodes are still being released every Monday featuring O’Brien sitting down with Dana Carvey. The first episode is a must-listen for comedy fans and we’re expecting more of the same over the next five weeks.

But when it comes to television, we’re getting a week of new shows from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. There are still some pretty big movies and television shows set to premiere that need some promotion. And as is the new norm in late night, politicians will also be given a platform this week.
