Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver new tonight, July 21?

Will fans see the return of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver or will it be another week away for the show?

It is Sunday and that means the weekend is just about over. We’re also getting towards the end of July, one of the most popular vacation months of the year. So does that mean the end of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver‘s hiatus?

A number of late night shows returned this week from vacations that started with the Fourth of July. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers all came back and came back strong.

However, there will still some shows that remained on break. This included HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher  which once again took a week off from dissecting everything going on in Washington, D.C.

So what about HBO’s other late night show? Last Week Tonight with John Oliver hasn’t been seen since June 30 when Oliver examined the dangers of warehouse work.

Fans will have to keep on waiting to hear from Oliver again. There will not be a new episode of Last Week Tonight for July 21.

HBO will get its late night team back to regular programming in the next couple of weeks. Real Time with Bill Maher will be back on Friday August 2. Fans won’t have to wait that long for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver which is scheduled to return on July 28.
