Here’s everything fans need to know about tonight’s live episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert featuring Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The first debate among Democratic candidates for president in 2020 will be held tonight. To cover the event, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be live immediately following the debate with special guest Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

There are over 20 Democrats who have announced they are running for the White House. Big names like former Vice President Joe Biden and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren are in the mix as well as lesser known politicians like Mike Gravel.

Wednesday night’s event will feature 10 of those candidates. Here is a breakdown of who will be on the stage tonight in Miami, Florida:

  • Elizabeth Warren
  • Beto O’Rourke
  • Cory Booker
  • Amy Klobuchar
  • Julián Castro
  • Jay Inslee
  • Bill de Blasio
  • Tim Ryan
  • John Delaney
  • Tulsi Gabbard

That is only half the candidates in the field. The other half will get their chance on Thursday night. It means that there will be a lot of discussion, a lot of debate, and a lot to analyze in the immediate aftermath of the debate.

Fans can turn to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for unique coverage of the debate. The top-rated late night show will be live immediately following the event. The debate is scheduled to air from 9:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. ET. Local news will follow, meaning The Late Show should come on around its normal time of 11:35 P.M.

When Colbert does take the stage live, he’ll have a lot to talk about and no doubt do his best to poke fun at any memorable moments. He’s no stranger to running a live version of the show having done so after the Super Bowl back in February.

Making things easier on Colbert will be his guest. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will return to The Late Show and offer her insight on the debates and the state of the Democratic Party. Ocasio-Cortez has quickly become a favorite guest of The Late Show and for good reason.
