Will Real Time with Bill Maher join in the conversation over the release of the Mueller report?
This week was one that many people waited a long time to arrive. Finally, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report was made public, albeit a redacted version. It certainly has been a popular topic of discussion on Real Time with Bill Maher.
In his usual style, Bill Maher hasn’t been shy about mocking, criticizing, and insulting President Donald Trump and the rest of his administration. The Mueller report has been constant point of debate on nearly ever episode of Real Time over the past two years.
But the released of a redacted Mueller report has only led to more debate. Not surprisingly, Trump and his supporters view the investigation as a complete exoneration. Critics of Trump and those who read the report claim that obstruction of justice charges are very much still on the table.
Tonight offers the perfect opportunity for Maher to bring together people from both sides to debate the report on Real Time. When so much of late night has been accused of being one-sided, Maher’s show continues to provide a platform for all different views.
Maybe it is the size of the Mueller report or the need to properly pore over its content. But whatever the case, Real Time with Bill Maher will not air a new episode tonight. It only means more time for Maher and future guests to develop their responses to the report.
Real Time with Bill Maher will return with a new episode on April 26. It should be a good one as Representative Adam Schiff will be among the guests. With an extra week to prepare, expect Bill Maher to firing on all cylinders on the next show. Keep checking in with Last Night On for all the updates and highlights.
