Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

It has only been a month since her last visit but Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is returning to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She will be a guest Wednesday March 20.

Last time she was on The Late Show, Ocasio-Cortez discussed her first few weeks as a member of Congress. She explained to Colbert her plan to cause a little trouble in Washington.

The representative from New York has certainly been working hard to establish herself in D.C. She was praised for her line of questioning during Michael Cohen’s testimony. She has also made headlines for her support of the Green New Deal. On top of that, she continues to use Twitter as a platform for sharing her views on the news as well as calling out her critics.

We can expect Stephen Colbert to focus on the Green New Deal when he interviews Ocasio-Cortez on The Late Show. The proposal has become a target of Republicans and conservative organizations look to dismiss Ocasio-Cortez and any other Democrat who supports its measures. Colbert will likely also ask about AOC’s work on the Oversight Committee and her thoughts on Democratic candidates in the 2020 presidential race.
