A rumored Jonas Brothers reunion will happen and things kick off on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

If you thought that today’s headlines were going to be dominated by just the Michael Cohen testimony, then thing again. One of the most popular bands of the 21st century are ready for their comeback. The Jonas Brothers have returned and will get some help from The Late Late Show with James Corden.

From 2005 through 2013, few acts in pop music were bigger than the Jonas Brothers. Since then, the trio of Joe, Nick, and Kevin have gone their separate ways professionally. However, they haven’t exactly left the spotlight. Nick Jonas has been successful as a solo artist and gained attention for his marriage to actress Priyanka Chopra. Joe Jonas has also done well with his group DNCE and is engaged to Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.

But as with a lot of popular bands or singers, and especially those that get their start through Disney, the fanbase never goes away even if the artist does. Jonas Brother fans have been holding out hope for a new music or at the very least a reunion tour. Now it looks like all that waiting is about to pay off:

At first it would see odd that the band would use The Late Late Show with James Corden as the platform to kick off their reunion. But no other late night show has the same focus on music as Corden’s show. His “Carpool Karaoke” segments are just one example.

Corden has proven he can do a lot to help promote a pop act. It’s not like the Jonas Brothers would need much help in getting excitement to build over their return and a new album. But it certainly won’t hurt and will give the band a chance to show off what they’ve been work on since we last saw them.

It should be a big week of shows for The Late Late Show. We will definitely be getting a new edition of “Carpool Karaoke” with the Jonas Brothers. But knowing Corden, that won’t be the only surprise he has in store for “Jonas Week.” Keep checking Last Night On for all the highlights.
