Few people can throw Conan O’Brien off with their weirdness. But Aubrey Plaza has shown she is one of them. She returns to Conan on Thursday, Feb. 14.
Plaza certainly has a unique personality compared to a lot of other actresses. It is part of the reason her Parks and Rec character April was so funny and quickly became a fan favorite. On late night, Plaza has shown a comfort in being herself even if that can make the host uncomfortable.
It is that personality and sense of humor that has made the comedian a favorite of Conan O’Brien. As Conan looks to showcase more guests of interest to the host, it makes sense that Plaza has popped up in the first month of new shows.
It also helps that Plaza has a couple projects to promote that people are already looking forward to seeing. The trailer for her film Child’s Play was just released ahead of a June debut. Plaza is also set to host the Film Independent Spirit Awards live on Feb. 23. There’s no such thing as getting too much from Aubrey Plaza and her interview on Conan will be another must-see.
