Martin Short and Steve Martin on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

The Tonight Show is the most iconic show in late night. So it’s fitting that it is where comedy icons Martin Short and Steve Martin will be on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Short and Martin have made a few appearances together on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and each one has been memorable. They are true professionals when it comes to comedy and have been around long enough to know exactly how to work a late night audience.

Both have been active since the early 1970s but remain as sharp and relevant as ever. Martin recently popped up on Saturday Night Live as Roger Stone in a fantastic cold open. Short is still one of the best guests in late night and manages to have hilarious material on whatever is happening in pop culture.

Having either Martin Short or Steve Martin on The Tonight Show would be enough to make the list of must-see interviews any week of the year. So having them together is a no-brainer and should be the highlight of Fallon’s week.

The two have shown that they are a hard pairing to beat when it comes to comedy. Their 2018 Netflix special An Evening You Will Forget For the Rest of Your Life remains popular and is one of the streaming service’s best comedy programs. The two are taking the show on the road with a comedy tour across the country that will run deep into the summer. If you can’t make it out to one of their shows, then catching them on The Tonight Show may be the next best thing.
