Kenan Thompson on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

If you are a Saturday Night Live fan, then you’ll want to tune into The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Fallon will be joined by his former SNL castmate Kenan Thompson.

Thompson and Fallon’s tenures on Saturday Night Live only overlapped by one season. But Fallon has made plenty trips back to Studio 8H where Thompson has been a staple since 2003. It is always a bit more special when SNL alumni like Fallon and Seth Meyers welcome a cast member to their respective shows. Fallon may have a behind-the-scenes story or two with Thompson he wants to share during the interview.

We can expect Thompson to talk about season 44 of Saturday Night Live which just had another great episode hosted by James McAvoy. The show certainly seems to be building momentum in 2019 and as usual, Thompson has been playing a major role in the success.

There is also a chance that Thompson will be talking about his projects outside of SNL. It was recently announced that Saving Kenan, a sitcom staring Thompson, has been ordered to pilot at NBC. Having that show picked up to series could mean the end of Thompson’s record-setting run on Saturday Night Live.
