The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and actress Lily James played an interesting game called the Singing Whisper Challenge, and it’s a lot of fun to watch.

Now I want to play!

Last night on The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon welcomed Lily James onto the show. James stars in the musical Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, which recently hit theaters. With the spirit of music in mind, Fallon invited her to play a game called the Singing Whisper Challenge, which seems fun yet frustrating!

Here’s how it works. One player will put on a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, which will be playing loud music. The other player will then be given a card with song lyrics, singing them to the other player. Only able to read lips, the player with headphones will have to guess what the other person is trying to sing to them. Sounds fun, right? It does in theory, but it’s so much harder than it even sounds for both of the players in the game.

First, James puts on the headphones, while Fallon sings to her. He mimes as he sings to give her clues, though she doesn’t quite get what he’s saying. Moments later, it’s her turn, as she’s left to sing “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid. To his part, Fallon does a little better than James, but is unable to guess that either. After a couple more tries, however, Fallon finally guesses what James is singing, leading them both to celebrate.

These games on Fallon’s show always make up a great part of its fun. Certainly, that’s Jimmy’s thing, and you don’t see it anywhere else. For more, tune in when The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on NBC!
