Clueless Gamer: Conan O’Brien plays Dragon Ball Legends with Ron Funches

The latest Clueless Gamer segment on Conan on TBS features Conan O’Brien and comedian Ron Funches playing the video game Dragon Ball Legends.

We’re still laughing way too hard at this one!

As many are aware, a long running segment on the TBS comedy talk series Conan has Conan O’Brien playing new release video games of every type. Called the Clueless Gamer series, O’Brien fumbles his way through each game as someone who admits he does not enjoy playing video games, and isn’t good at them whatsoever. It’s always a lot of fun and helps to sell whichever game is being promoted on the show.

This week, O’Brien invited comedian Ron Funches to play the new game Dragon Ball Legends. Unlike most of the games previously covered in the Clueless Gamer series, this is a mobile game. Obviously based on the popular Dragon Ball anime franchise, the fighting game pits characters from the series against each other in 3 on 3 battles. For someone like O’Brien who’s not an expert at gaming, it’s not exactly something he’s looking forward to playing.

For his part, Funches is eager to play, determined to best Conan in what he perceives to be an easy feat. But maybe all of his experience in these bits has made O’Brien a bit better at games, because I’ll just say he does a bit better than you might expect.
