Stephen Colbert destroys Rudy Giuliani over Stormy Daniels comments

After Rudy Giuliani made some boneheaded comments about adult film actress Stormy Daniels, Stephen Colbert came to her defense on last night’s Late Show.

On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a recurring segment called Stormy Watch has been keeping viewers updated on the presidential scandal involving Stormy Daniels. As everyone knows, Daniels alleges she had an affair with Donald Trump and was paid hush money by his lawyer to stay quiet about it. It’s become a huge mess for the president, despite Trump’s new layer Rudy Giuliani’s best attempts to shut it down.
Last night, Colbert showed video footage of Giulani making some disparaging remarks about Daniels. First, he dismisses her status as a “porn star” by arguing that not every adult film actress can be a star. He makes a point that he’s never heard of her before, but is quick to say, “Now, I don’t really look at porn.” Colbert responds by imagining him to add that he definitely doesn’t know the works of other famous porn stars as well, listing them by name.
But it gets sillier than that. Giulani goes on to insinuate that Daniels isn’t attractive enough for Trump to consider sleeping with her. “I mean, look at his three wives,” Giuliani argues. “Beautiful women, classy women, women of great substance. Stormy Daniels?” With that, Giulani scoffs as if the notion that Daniels could be considered a beautiful woman is completely ridiculous.
But Colbert has the perfect response to that. “Wow,” he laments. “I know Stormy Daniels is an adult film star, but Rudy Giulani might be the biggest dick she’s ever seen.” That certainly says a lot, right? You can watch this bit in the monologue video below.
