Donald Trump wound up cancelling the North Korea Summit planned for June 12, only raising more questions that Jimmy Kimmel wants answered.

It’s hard to even know where to begin with this story…

As being discussed in the headlines, problems are brewing between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. Although the two are supposed to meet next month for a proposed summit, the meeting seems to have been called off. After North Korea referred to Mike Pence as a “dummy,” Trump cancelled the meeting and now it’s unclear if and when it will come to happen.

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, host Jimmy Kimmel offered his two cents on the situation.  Amused by Trump racing to cancel the meeting first (the equivalent of breaking up with your partner right as they’re about to break up with you, Kimmel is also entertained by Trump spelling Jong-un’s name wrong in a tweet about the cancellation. Spelling it “Kim Jong-un,” Kimmel likens it to Jong-un spelling the president’s name as “Donald Tromp.”

Kimmel then looks into a recent appearance from Mike Pence on Fox News, which only made things worse for the White House. On television, Pence compared the Korea Summit to what happened with Libya. Moammar Gaddafi gave up his nuclear program as part of a deal, only to later wind up chased into a drainage pipe and brutally killed. In other words, that probably wasn’t the best example for Pence to use. As mentioned above, this is just turning into a big mess…

If nothing else, those coins will make for some entertaining collector’s items. But it still seems like the White House will be left with tons of unsold coins unless they’re marked down even further. As for Kimmel, you can catch more from him when Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.
