Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on tonight, May 13th, 2018?

Will we have a new episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver premiering tonight, or is the late night funnyman taking the night off for the holiday?

Now, let’s get to why you’re here. It’s Sunday, which means that normally there’s a new episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver premiering on HBO. But with today being a holiday, will that mean Oliver is taking the night off?

Well, here’s the good news. YES, there is in fact a new episode on tonight. Season 5 will resume tonight on HBO at 11 p.m. EST, so you’ll definitely want to tune in. It’s of course a mystery as to what Oliver will be talking about exactly, but the late night funnyman always has a way of finding something compelling to shine a spotlight on.

Last week, Oliver tore down Rudy Giulani after Donald Trump named him as his new legal representation. Many people were asking what went wrong with Giulani and why he could suddenly do something like what he’s doing now with the president. But as Oliver showed, apparently Guilani has a long history of questionable decisions and odd behavior. So, perhaps it wasn’t such a strange thing after all.
