Sting and Shaggy play ‘Who Sang It?’ with Fallon audience
By Jeremy Dick
Jimmy Fallon quizzed his Tonight Show audience last night by playing sound clips of people singing, and asking if it’s Shaggy and Sting or impersonators.
And those watching the video clip at home can play along!
Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the single-name musicians Shaggy and Sting both appeared as guests. Of course, sensing an opportunity, Jimmy Fallon decided to use them for a fun game. For this one, he enlisted the help of Shaggy and Sting, and engaged in a game of “Who Sang It?” with the audience.
Here’s how it works. Jimmy will play sound clips of Shaggy and Sting supposedly singing together. The audience will then have to determine whether it’s really the two actual singers, or Fallon and Steve Higgins doing impressions of them. And it’s actually much more difficult than you might think.
The studio audience does pretty well with playing the game. They do manage to get two and a half out of the three challenges correct. But to be fair, that’s because Fallon hits them with a trick one for the final question! As hilarious as it is, though, nobody really seems to care.
