Conan surprises Jeff Daniels with Jim Carrey for Dumb and Dumber reunion

A surprise reunion took place on Conan when host Conan O’Brien surprised guest Jeff Daniels with Dumb and Dumber co-star Jim Carrey.

Back in the 1990s, one of the most appreciated comedy films was Dumb and Dumber. Starring Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey, the film about two complete morons is just as funny today as it is then. A sequel would arrive many years later in 2014 due to fan demand, and it’s still obvious that the characters are still beloved by audiences.

Last night on Conan, host Conan O’Brien invited on Daniels as a guest. The two looked back upon the classic film, with Daniels admitting he didn’t predict exactly how successful it’d become. Before the two could go on very much further, none other than Jim Carrey himself steps onto the site, clearly surprising his former co-star. But the first thing Carrey says to Daniels is a little bit of a rib: “You’re in town, and you don’t call me?!”

The two go on to speak about some of their memories from working on the classic 90s film together. It’s a humorous and interesting conversation, and the two don’t really hold back. Carrey jokes about how the sequel wasn’t as well received (but that he doesn’t care). But on the more serious note, the comedian reveals how everyone knew how great their chemistry was as soon as they started to read together. It’s an amazing interview that every fan of the movie will need to watch right away!
