Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro both appeared on SNL as Michael Cohen and Robert Mueller last night to spoof their own film Meet the Parents.

Whether they’re actually in a film together or on Saturday Night Live spoofing said film, Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro are always hilarious together!

Last night on SNL, the cold open segment had something special in store for viewers. Following the raid this past week on Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen, Stiller appeared in a sketch as Cohen, concerned about what evidence will be found. It leads into Cohen taking a lie detector test administered by Robert Mueller – who’s played by Robert DeNiro!

Of course, the scene is a direct spoof of the most memorable moment in the pair’s comedy film Meet the Parents. In the style of that scene, Mueller probes Cohen with questions about the big-money payment made to adult film actress for Stormy Daniels. Of course, when Cohen claims Trump didn’t know about it, the lie detector starts going crazy.

Several references are made directly to the movie. At one point during the test, Cohen explains how he’s just trying to “milk” people for information. “I have nipples, can you milk me, Mr. Cohen?” Mueller asks – paraphrasing a direct quote from his Meet the Parents character.

The sketch is hilarious, and you can watch it in full in the YouTube video below.
