The hit sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live has been on hiatus for the past several weeks. Will that extend into today? Let’s get right to it and let you know the good news. Tonight, the show is back and it is all new, so make sure you’re in front of the television tonight at the usual time!
Tonight, Chadwick Boseman will be the celebrity guest host for his first stint on the show. Boseman recently became an A-lister by starring in the superhero flick Black Panther. That movie is smashing all kinds of box office records, becoming the highest grossing superhero movie of all time in the United States. Rest assured, there will no doubt be a sketch poking fun at the massively popular movie.
Of course, no episode of SNL could be complete without a musical guest. Step in Cardi B, who will officially be performing some of her hits such as “Bodak Yellow” which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Because the show has been on hiatus, we can probably expect some an amazing episode. It’s more than likely Alec Baldwin will return as Donald Trump, given all of the scandals currently surrounding the president. He’s not confirmed to appear, but I’m thinking we’ll probably see him as early as the cold open segment.
