Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on tonight, March 25th, 2018?

Will there be an all new episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver premiering on HBO tonight at the usual time? We have all the info right here.

Season 5 of HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has been going great, but is the show set to return tonight? Or, will the program be taking a brief hiatus?

Well, let’s get right to it. The bad news is that the show is not on tonight. Following last week’s strong episode about Mike Pence, Last Week Tonight will be taking a short break. It will resume next week on April 1 with more new episodes.

Last week’s episode was significant because it marked the release of a parody book from Oliver about the Pence family’s pet bunny. The Pence book is about Marlon Bundo, the family pet, detailing his adventures in the White House In Oliver’s book, the bunny falls in love with another male rabbit. It outsold the book it was spoofing by far, becoming the No. 1 seller on Amazon.

Last year, HBO renewed the show through 2020, which guarantees Oliver will be around for at least several more years. He wont be on TV tonight, but we’ll be catching back up with him on Easter. It remains to be seen what all topics he’ll tackle, but the holiday seems appropriate for us to check back in with him on how his bunny book is doing. There’s no doubt he couldn’t be more pleased.
