Stephen Colbert laughs at people buying wrong Fire and Fury book

Fire and Fury is the name of the new tell-all book about Donald Trump, but many confused shoppers are accidentally buying another book of the same name.

If you’re going to buy that new Fire and Fury book, make sure it’s the right one!

Recently, Michael Wolff’s new book Fire and Fury has been ruffling a lot of feathers in the White House. It details the campaign Donald Trump held and follows well him into his presidency, giving readers a great look behind the scenes of what’s going on in the Oval Office. Despite Trump’s attempts to prevent the book from being published, it’s now available, and people have been buying it in droves.

But in the rush to purchase the new book, some are accidentally ordering another version of Fire and Fury instead. A Canadian historian has already released a book of that same name, and some disappointed readers aren’t seeing what all the fuss was about when they read it.

Last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Colbert had some fun with the mix-up. He brought up the Amazon reviews from confused shoppers who helped bring the Canadian Fire and Fury onto three separate bestseller lists. They’re leaving angry reviews, upset that the book didn’t mention Trump at all, and still clueless to the fact that they didn’t even buy the right one. But the author isn’t complaining…
