Congratulations to one of the funniest men in late night TV, as the host of Late Night with Seth Meyers is expecting a second child with his wife Alexi Ashe.

Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe will soon enough be welcoming child number two!

According to PEOPLE.com, the news has been made officially that Meyers is set to be a dad again. The funnyman himself announced the news on Thanksgiving, when he had the Meyers family appear on the show as his guests. Seth’s new bundle will be joining a son the couple had previously, Ashe Olson, who was born back in March of 2016.

Seth’s announcement from the show:

"“A couple years ago on this show, we announced that we were having Ashe and so I wanna take this opportunity now, you guys obviously know, but my wife and I are expecting a second baby.”"

On the show, Seth’s mother reveals the story of her son first revealing this news to her about the new baby. Evidently, Seth was sobbing, leading her to believe at first that something was wrong. Of course, nothing is wrong, though Seth admits that he’s really hoping for the new child to be another boy. The funnyman says he was so lucky to have a brother when he was little and he is wanting the same thing for his son Ashe.
