The Exorcist gets Season 2 premiere date on Fox
By Jeremy Dick
The Exorcist is returning later this month to the Fox network after the first season proved to be a hit, and the official premiere date has been conjured up.
The new episodes of The Exorcist will compel you… to watch Season 2 this month!
Season 1 of FOX’s The Exorcist was, at the least, so much better than most people were expecting. Modern takes on classic horror films rarely go over well with fans. But not only did the horror crowd seem to enjoy the TV series, it’s been a hit for casual couch potatoes as well. Needless to say, there are a lot of people out where wondering when Season 2 will air.
Courtesy of the fine folks over at 1428 Elm, we can now report on the official release date. Season 2 of The Exorcist will premiere on Friday, September 29. Yes, that’s only a few weeks from now and just in time for Halloween season. Perhaps the new episodes couldn’t have come at a better time!
In Season 2, some characters will be returning, while several new ones come in as well. Father Tomas and Marcus Keane wind up traveling to Washington to a home for troubled children. With one of the kids being attacked by a malevolent force, the duo must work together to try to stop it.
So to catch those new episodes of the show, remember to mark September 29 on your calendar. We’ll be deep into American Horror Story and getting back into The Walking Dead season coming soon, by this point. Just don’t forget about The Exorcist!
