Teen Choice Awards 2017: Zendaya wins Choice Summer Movie Actress

The Dolan Brothers introduced the winner of the Choice Summer Movie Actress at the Fox Teen Choice Awards 2017, and Zendaya has won the award!

Zendaya is the summer movie actress the teens love the most!

At the Fox Teen Choice Awards 2017, The Dolan Brothers had the honor of naming all of the nominees for the Choice Summer Movie Actress. After having a bit of a squabble, they ended up reading the nominees, and I can’t say the winner chosen surprises me.

First, we’ll list the nominees. These actresses were up for the award, and they are all admittedly great: Cara Delevingne, Gal Gadot, Isabela Moner, Mandy Moore, Bella Thorne, and Zendaya. Of course, we can only pick one of these talented ladies to take the award… so which one was it? Well, let’s reveal the winner:

ZENDAYA for her performance in Spider-Man: Homecoming!

Zendaya was on hand to accept the award, and gave an awesome speech thanking everyone who believed in her. While I was personally gunning for Gal Gadot after how amazing Wonder Woman turned out to be, I’m still happy with Zendaya taking the win. I can’t deny that she’s pretty awesome herself.

Spider-Man: Homecoming wasn’t the quintessential Spidey movie by any means, but it did have some things to appreciate. Not the least of which was Zendaya.
