8. Arya Stark returns to Winterfell to reunite with her family

Last week, we saw the epic reunion between Bran Stark and his sister Sansa. It, uh, didn’t exactly go so well. It’s clear to Sansa, and to Bran himself, that the boy is no longer the same person. Now the Three Eyed Raven, he’s now distanced himself from any and everyone he knew before.

Hopefully, the reunion between Arya and her sister won’t be as awkward. When she arrives at the gates of Winterfell, she is denied entry at first. The guards refuse to believe that she is the Arya Stark, assuming her to be long dead. Even after she says to go get her sister to greet her, they just won’t buy her story that she is really Arya Stark. After some pleading, they finally concede.

However, before Sansa is able to meet up with Arya, Arya vanishes! With the two guards squabbling about it, Arya practically just completely ghosted. Sansa does track her down though, and the reunion goes very well. Arya respects Sansa’s new role as “Lady Stark”, and Sansa finds out about Arya’s “list to kill”.

“Our story’s not over yet,” Arya says, saying there’s still much more for this world to expect from the Starks.
