Colbert offers ‘spoil proof bucket’ to Game of Thrones fans
By Jeremy Dick
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is offering a faux product for fans of Game of Thrones to help them avoid hearing spoilers from family and co-workers.
Most people love watching HBO’s Game of Thrones. But not everyone gets the chance to watch it on Sunday night when it first airs. Trying to avoid major spoilers coming out of the show can be very challenging in the following days. Isn’t there a better solution?
Well, if you take a moment to pretend this faux product shown on The Late Show is real, then we have just the thing for you!
For a Late Show segment, Stephen Colbert show clips from Game of Thrones and jokes about how awful it is when spoilers ruin the series. To help fans avoid those pesky spoilers from hurting the viewing experience, Colbert offers the “Spoil Proof Bucket.” Staying away from GoT spoilers will now be as easy as slipping a metal bucket over your head.
Using the latest in “bucket technology”, the device effectively keeps all spoilers from entering your ears into your brain. Whether you’re at work, the gym, or even on a date with a romantic partner, you can be sure to avoid “incest spoilers” whenever the topic of Game of Thrones comes up.
