Recurring American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson has snagged a starring role in M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming Split sequel, Glass.

She’ll be going from the small screen to the big screen, but Sarah Paulson just can’t escape that horror genre! Not that its fans are complaining, mind you.

If you’re a fan of American Horror Story at all, you’re certainly familiar with Paulson. She’s one of the biggest stars to appear on the FX program throughout the seasons. For Season 7, she’ll be coming back to star on the show once again!

But remaining such a force on AHS doesn’t mean Paulson isn’t seeking film work as well. Good news for her, as it’s now being reported by sites such as The Hollywood Reporter than she has been cast in the upcoming horror/thriller Glass, directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

If you’re unaware, Glass is the sequel to two of Shymalan’s previous flicks, Unbreakable and Split. This new film will feature characters from both of those flicks, as Bruce Willis, James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Samuel L. Jackson have all already signed on to reprise their respective roles.

As of now we don’t have any details as to the plot of this new film. But as the casting suggests, we can expect it to blend the two Shyamalan films together.

Universal has given Glass a tentative release date of January 18, 2019. That’s quite a ways a way, so that date is subject to change. But, wow, that sure is awfully far away. Hopefully the wait is worth it.
