World of Dance will officially be returning to NBC for another season as the network has given the green light to renew the series for Season 2.

Are you enjoying NBC’s World of Dance? Well I have some excellent news for you!

Posting strong numbers already so far in its freshman season, World of Dance has become an instant hit for the NBC network. The summer dance competition program is already doing so well, in fact, that NBC has already ordered a second season of the series, as confirmed by Deadline.

The show features Jenna Dewan Tatum as the host, with judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough. As a competitive reality series, contestants show off their dance moves for a shot at the show’s $1 million dollar prize. And as you can expect, many of the dancers featured thus far have been nothing short of incredible.

Speaking about the renewal, judge and producer Jennifer Lopez spoke optimistically about the show’s future:

"“I am so happy that World Of Dance has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC.”"

The bar will be set even higher for Season 2, so for all of you enjoying the show’s first season, be sure to come back next year!
