Trump blocks Kimmel writer for offending him on Twitter

Emmy-nominated Jimmy Kimmel Live writer Bess Kalb has revealed Donald Trump blocked her on Twitter after her tweet to him “hurt his feelings”.

Donald Trump sure loves to dish it out on Twitter. He tweets before thinking and has trashed nearly everyone on the social media service. But can the Trumpster take it just the same when the “offensive” tweets are sent back to him? Apparently not.

DailyMail is reporting that President Trump has added another name to his Twitter block list. Bess Kalb, who writes for Jimmy Kimmel Live, says the president has just blocked her on the service. She seems to find it funny, though she still shows some surprise — she’s been tweeting jokes about Trump for months.

Kalb believes that the “straw that broke the camel’s back” stems from a Trump tweet from Sunday. In the tweet, Trump says, “I suggest that we add more dollars to Healthcare and make it the best anywhere. ObamaCare is dead – the Republicans will do much better!”

Responding directly to Trump, Kalb responded with several digs at Trump, including these tweets:

“I know you’re trying to pivot away from how embarrassing the big trip was for all of us to watch (Pushing! Pope! Saudi bowing!) but…this?”

and

“Honestly, hun this is so far over your head. If you need to have another “bone spur” and let Mike take over, no one will blame you.”

Soon after, Kalb came to realize she’d been blocked from accessing Trump’s Twitter account. Apparently, the Kimmel writer had hit an orange nerve. Way to go, Bess!

Even though Trump may have blocked Kalb on Twitter, she’s still getting the last laugh. With another tweet, she says that from now on, “there is only one Snowflake.” You’re absolutely right, Bess. You’re absolutely right.
