Late Night with Seth Meyers opened up Tuesday night’s episode with a monologue that covered a number of topics, including Bill O’Reilly.

There might not be another late night talk show out there that has gained as much popularity in 2017 as NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, and for good reason. The former Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Seth Meyers host has found his groove as the host of Late Night, producing some terrific segments.

On Tuesday night’s episode of Late Night, Meyers opened up the episode with a brief monologue. It covered a number of subjects, including a recent vandalism incident at the Trump National Golf Club in Washington D.C.. Meyers joked that the list of suspects in the case was narrowed down to just about everyone given Trump’s historically low approval rating.

Meyers also had a terrific zinger about FOX News anchor Bill O’Reilly, who is in hot water over recent reports came out about settlements regarding sexual harassment claims. Tuesday was National Hug a Newsperson day, but Meyers said that if you ran into O’Reilly, it would probably be a good idea to just give him a fist bump instead.

Late Night may not be getting the ratings that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert or The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon get, but Meyers and his staff have turned the NBC series into a terrific late night talk show, and they deserve some credit for that.
