The Late Show with Stephen Colbert trolled Neil Gorsuch’s Supreme Court confirmation and the Republicans’ potential plan to use a nuclear option.

There isn’t another late night talk show that has the popularity that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has right now. The big reason for that is that Colbert has done a fantastic job of trolling President Donald Trump and his administration, and he was back at it again to start this week.

Colbert opened up Monday night’s episode of The Late Show by congratulating South Carolina’s women’s basketball team for winning the national championship, while also congratulating whoever won the men’s NCAA tournament since the episode was recorded before the game.

After some sports jokes, Colbert dove right into news regarding Supreme Court justice nominee Neil Gorsuch and his confirmation hearing. Republicans are reportedly planning to use a nuclear option if Gorsuch isn’t confirmed, and Colbert joked that President Trump is upset that he won’t be the first person to use a nuclear option.

Colbert also spent some time making fun of Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son in law, who probably has more jobs in the White House than anyone else in the administration. Kushner even went to Iraq recently while his other jobs include negotiating with Mexico for the border law and improving Middle East relations.
