Late Night with Seth Meyers spent Monday night’s episode talking about President Donald Trump and the GOP’s failed health care plan.

It was an eventful weekend for President Donald Trump, his administration and the GOP after the American Health Care Act failed to get passed. Not surprisingly, all of the late night talk shows out there, including NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, were all over it.

During Monday night’s episode of Late Night, Meyers and his staff put together another great segment for A Closer Look, the regular part of the NBC talk show that takes a deep dive on some recent news.

This segment of A Closer Look focused mostly on President Trump’s willingness to back away from the failed healthcare bill while claiming that he never said that he would repeal and replace Obamacare so quickly, despite footage of him at some of his speeches saying the contrary.

You can watch the entire segment of A Closer Look from Monday night’s episode of Late Night in the YouTube video below.

Easily the most interesting part of Trump backing off the healthcare bill was a strange tweet of him encouraging his followers to watch Judge Jeanine on FOX News on Saturday night. As it turns out, the episode of Judge Jeanine opened with her calling for Speaker Paul Ryan to step down.

The President’s staff quickly tried to explain that this was just a mere coincidence, but there are plenty of people out there who aren’t convinced, including Meyers.
