Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel stopped by a Chicago Cubs spring training game to sing with Huey Lewis during the seventh-inning stretch.
It has been a pretty relaxed spring training for the Chicago Cubs and their fans. There has been plenty of fun to go around, and there have been a handful of celebrities in attendance during games.
During Friday’s spring training game against the Cleveland Indians, the popular late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was in attendance. In fact, Kimmel even got to join the popular musician Huey Lewis from Huey Lewis and the News for the seventh inning stretch.
In all honesty, it was Lewis who did most of the singing when the two were asked to sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”. Kimmel was more focused on the actual stretching portion of the seventh inning stretch. You can check out some photos and a video of the two singing behind home plate courtesy of Twitter below.
Expectations are high for the Cubs heading into the 2017 regular season. The team was finally able to win its first World Series in over a century, and now the expectations are for the team to bring home a second consecutive championship to Chicago.
