Does Jimmy Kimmel Live have a new episode tonight, March 27th?
By Hector Cruz
ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will be on a week-long hiatus throughout the week of March 27th.
Viewers tuning into Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight will be met with an encore of a February episode featuring Chris Pratt debuting the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, as the ABC late-night series goes on break for one week even as its competitors continue to air new episodes. But, Kimmel’s spring break will come to an end when the show returns with new episodes next Monday, April 3rd.
The host kicked off his short vacation by dueting with Huey Lewis on “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh inning stretch of a Chicago Cubs spring training game against the Cleveland Indians on Friday at Sloan Park in Arizona. During last week’s episodes, Kimmel spoke with Dave Chappelle about OJ Simpson, his no phone policy at his stand-up shows and his new Netflix specials; revealed his pick for the winner of the latest Dancing With the Stars season; premiered the results of his snowball challenge for viewers; interviewed Shaq about his political ambitions and tipping habits; had comedian Patton Oswalt perform some of Mike Huckabee’s Twitter jokes; and gave us two editions of “Drunk Donald Trump” at two of his rallies in Kentucky and Arizona.
The show’s schedule this week includes repeats of episodes featuring James Harden, Alec Baldwin, Luke Evans, Matthew Perry and Bill Hader, among others. Here’s the full lineup:
Monday: Chris Pratt, Catherine Zeta-Jones, James Harden, Music from John Mayer
Tuesday: Alec Baldwin, Luke Evans, Music from Tuxedo
Wednesday: Dave Chappelle, Naomi Scott, Music from Weezer
Thursday: Matthew Perry, Michael Pena, Paul Schaffer ft. Jenny Lewis and Shaggy
Friday: Bill Hader, America Ferrera, Music from Imagine Dragons
Next: Tim Allen’s Trump Nazi Germany joke on Jimmy Kimmel Live sparks controversy
Jimmy Kimmel Live returns with new episodes next Monday, April 3rd at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
