Seth Meyers trolls Sean Spicer in fake press briefing
By Tyler Brooke
Late Night with Seth Meyers took some pretty strong shot at White House press secretary Sean Spicer and President Donald Trump during Tuesday’s episode.
There have been few shows out there that have picked up as much steam in 2017 as the NBC late night talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers. Their political satire has been particularly strong, and Late Night was back at it again during Tuesday night’s episode.
On Tuesday night’s episode of Late Night, Seth Meyers told his audience that it felt like White House press secretary Sean Spicer wasn’t getting asked the right questions during his press briefings. Because of this, Meyers and his staff decided to put together a fake White House press briefing.
The resulting segment was hilarious, with Meyers asking questions and the staff cutting together Spicer quotes that were taken entirely out of context. Questions from Meyers ranged from asking him if he had a date for the prom to how it long President Donald Trump’s time in office felt like for him.
You can watch the entire segment from Late Night in the YouTube video below.
Meyers may not have the biggest late night show on television, but he is definitely closing the gap between Late Night and the giants in The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

His experience as the host of Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live has clearly paid off in a big way for Meyers, and it doesn’t look like Late Night is going to be slowing down any time soon.
