Ryan Reynolds crashes Stephen Colbert’s monologue
By Tyler Brooke
Actor Ryan Reynolds stopped by the set of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to confuse everyone about whether it was Tuesday or Thursday.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert almost always has topical opening monologues. However, during Tuesday night’s episode of the CBS late night talk show, someone wanted to point out that this monologue might have been pre-recorded.
During Tuesday night’s opening monologue, actor Ryan Reynolds crashed the segment to have a stern chat with Stephen Colbert. While he had no problem with Colbert praising Matthew Broderick, Reynolds had a big problem with Colbert lying to his audience about what day it was.
According to Reynolds, the opening monologue for Tuesday was actually being filmed on Thursday, and he had a problem with Colbert lying to everyone. Reynolds tried to prove that it was actually Thursday, but Colbert was doing everything he could to prove otherwise. You can watch the entire segment from Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show in the YouTube video below.
Colbert and Reynolds eventually were able to agree to at least disagree. The Late Show host even offered to take Reynolds out after the show for tacos. However, as everyone knows, it’s against the law to eat tacos on any day other than Tuesday, so Reynolds had to admit that it was Tuesday if they were going to go out for Taco Tuesday.

Who knows when the opening monologue was actually filmed, but all that matters now is that I am really craving some tacos.
