Trevor Noah talks Comey hearing, Trump’s Twitter lies on Daily Show

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah took some time to talk about James Comey’s hearing with Congress and Donald Trump’s potential ties with Russia.
All of the late night talk shows had to talk about FBI Director James Comey’s hearing with Congress on Monday night. That included The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, which took some pretty strong shots at President Donald Trump and his entire administration.
During Monday night’s episode of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah and his staff were expecting former The Apprentice star and current White House staffer Omarosa to come on the show to chat. Unfortunately, Omarosa cancelled because the White House didn’t want her interview to overshadow the news of the day.
That was definitely a strange reason considering the news of the day was pretty negative for the Trump administration. Earlier on Monday, Comey revealed that there is an investigation regarding Trump’s campaign and any possible ties to Russia and their interference in the election. Probably the craziest part of the entire hearing is that Congress asked Comey to comment on a tweet that Trump had put out on the official POTUS Twitter account during the hearing. The tweet suggested something that Comey then denied, and Noah pointed out that is takes someone special to say something false during a hearing about him saying something false.
