Colbert uses diagram to figure out Trump’s relationship with Putin

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert broke down President Donald Trump and his potential ties to Vladimir Putin and Russia on Monday night’s episode.
Over the past couple of months, there have been all kinds of reports regarding Russia and its potential ties to President Donald Trump’s administration. Luckily for us, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is here to break it all down.
On Monday night’s episode of The Late Show, Stephen Colbert talked about Trump’s recent speech and his change of tone. However, that tone quickly disappeared four days later when Trump went on another Twitter rant.
As Colbert pointed out, these crazy accusations that Trump made on Twitter were likely meant to be a distraction from some of the recent news over the past week, including Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusing himself from the Russian investigation.
To break it all down, Colbert brought out his diagram with all of the potential ties between Trump’s administration and Russian president Vladimir Putin. You can watch the entire segment in the YouTube video below.
The diagram was pretty simple. Putin’s name was at the top with Trump’s at the bottom, and to the side were all of the agencies and people who had reported ties to Russia, which Colbert marked with the letter “P”. By the end, Colbert pointed out that all of the “P” kept raining down towards Trump, which was a not-so-subtle joke about the rumored Russian hotel incident.
