The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was live following President Donald Trump’s address to congress, and Colbert had plenty to say after the speech.

Tuesday was a big night around the country, as President Donald Trump delivered his first address to Congress. Of course, all of the late night shows had to talk about it, including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Immediately following Trump’s address to Congress, The Late Show hosted a live episode with plenty of reactions from Colbert. Live episodes have done great for the CBS late night talk show’s ratings, so it only made sense to do another one on Tuesday night.

Despite the fact that Trump seemed much more calm and focused on unity instead of himself, there was still material for Colbert and his staff to make fun of. Colbert talked about Trump’s plans to repeal Obamacare, the video of him practicing his speech in the car and plenty more topics.

You can watch the entire opening monologue from Tuesday night’s live episode of The Late Show in the YouTube video below.

As much as Colbert isn’t a fan of President Trump, he has to be thankful that the POTUS has given him so much material to work with. In fact, Colbert’s constant trolling of Trump has allowed The Late Show to beat out The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the past few weeks in ratings.
