The Late Show with Stephen Colbert introduced its audience to the newest advisor to President Donald Trump, Infowars’ Alex Jones.

There are some interesting and controversial characters who are advisors to President Donald Trump, but as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the POTUS just got another one who is a whole lot wackier.

During Wednesday night’s episode of The Late Show, Stephen Colbert introduced his audience to the newest advisor to Trump. The man is named Alex Jones, and he is the host to a far right web and radio talk show called Infowars.

Jones has covered all kinds of subjects on the show, from homosexual frogs to the Sandy Hook shooting not being real to even talking about monkeys doing inappropriate things to footballs. Naturally, that seems like the kind of guy who should be getting a White House press credential and be having conversations with the President of the United States.

You can watch Colbert’s entire segment about Jones in the YouTube video below.

Jones isn’t the first controversial figure to have discussions with Trump during his presidency. The most notable name is White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was one of the co-founders of the far-right platform Breitbart News.
