Seth Meyers breaks down Trump Administration and Russia on A Closer Look

Late Night with Seth Meyers took Wednesday’s segment of A Closer Look to break down Donald Trump’s administration and its possible ties to Russia.

It has been less than a month since President Donald Trump was sworn into office, and already things are getting more and more chaotic. Fortunately for the American people, late night talk shows like Late Night with Seth Meyers are at least trying to provide some humor during a serious situation.

On Wednesday night’s episode of Late Night, Meyers and his staff once again brought out the popular segment A Closer Look to talk about Trump and his administration. For this episode, Meyers broke down all of the reports circling around the Trump administration that they were reportedly in constant contact with Russia throughout the campaign.

The trolling was strong in this segment, starting by calling out Trump for saying earlier in his campaign that the American people were going to get tired of winning if he was president. Meyers joked that it’s impossible to get tired of winning, because even DJ Khaled doesn’t get tired of it, and all he does is win.

While Meyers doesn’t have the audience that late night hosts like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon have, Late Night has done a great job of establishing its identity over the past few months. Hopefully that will help Meyers and his staff become one of the bigger shows on late night TV in the near future, because segments like this has been really well done.
