Real Time host Bill Maher stopped by The Messy Truth with Van Jones to talk about with problems with President Donald Trump, while making a bold claim regarding Mitt Romney and Mormonism.

HBO’s Real Time host Bill Maher has never been a big fan of the Republican party, but he’s made it clear that he’s even less of a fan of President Donald Trump. Apparently, Maher is even willing to have former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney take over the White House.

On Thursday night, Maher will be appearing on The Messy Truth, a CNN town hall series hosted by Van Jones. During his time on the show, the Real Time host told the audience that he’d be willing to convert from atheism to mormonism if Mitt Romney took over the White House from Trump, according to Deadline Hollywood.

“I would happily give that million dollars right now to Mitt Romney if he would take over the country,” Maher reportedly said.

As abrasive as Maher can sometimes be, the fact that he’s willing to support Romney taking over the White House after being so supportive of Barack Obama during the presidential race at the time speaks volumes about his dislike for Trump.
