John Oliver tore apart Donald Trump’s travel ban

Last Week Tonight host John Oliver stopped by the set of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about president Donald Trump’s travel ban.

Fans of the hit HBO series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver are getting excited for its return this Sunday. Fortunately for fans of the show, we got a little taste of what Oliver is going to deliver on Tuesday night.

The HBO late night talk show host stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk with his former Daily Show colleague about president Donald Trump. As a green card holder, Oliver was asked about his thoughts on Trump’s travel ban and whether or not he’s worried about getting deported.

Although Oliver doesn’t think that he’ll get deported, he says that the fact that there’s a non-zero chance that it happens is definitely concerning. Oliver has been out of the public spotlight while Last Week Tonight is on hiatus, and he admitted that it was nice not having to talk about everything that’s happening for a little while.

You can watch the entire interview with Oliver from The Late Show in the YouTube video below.

Both Oliver and Stephen Colbert have made a living recently by taking shots at president Trump, so it was great to see the two spend some time together to talk about everything that’s been happening with his executive orders and other events surrounding his presidency.
