New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about his incredible catch in Super Bowl LI.

The New England Patriots are still living on Cloud Nine after their incredible comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. However, a couple of members of that Patriots team had to spend some time with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show the day after their championship.

The Tonight Show had Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and wide receiver Julian Edelman on Monday night’s episode to chat with Fallon. Belichick was in a good mood, showing some smiles and laughing a little while cracking a couple of jokes.

Meanwhile, Edelman was asked about his incredible catch that came late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game. Edelman admitted that the catch was about 70 percent luck, and he described just how crazy the moment was at the time.

You can watch the entire segment with Belichick and Edelman in the YouTube video below, or you can skip to about the 3:20 mark to listen to the Patriots wide receiver describe his legendary Super Bowl catch.

Probably the highlight from the interview was Belichick joking about meditating when the team was down 28-3 when he grabbed Edelman’s hand and pretended to pray. Edelman responded by saying that it was the first time that his coach had ever touched him.

It was great seeing two members of the Super Bowl winning team in a more casual setting, but it’s safe to say that Belichick stole the show.
