Julian Edelman, Bill Belichick joining Jimmy Fallon on Tonight Show
By Tyler Brooke
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and head coach Bill Belichick will be stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.
After an incredible comeback victory, the New England Patriots are celebrating their fifth Super Bowl championship in the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady era. A few key members of that Patriots team will have their hands full with media appearances for the next week or so.
On Monday night, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will have two members of that Patriots team on to talk about their dramatic win in head coach Belichick and wide receiver Julian Edelman. The two were key pieces to the team scoring 31 unanswered points and taking down the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.
Everyone wants to know what Fallon has planned for Belichick, because the Patriots head coach is one of the more reserved personalities in professional sports. As for Edelman, I’m sure Fallon is going to ask him about that incredible catch the Patriots receiver made late in the game.
The Tonight Show promoted Belichick and Edelman’s appearance on Monday night’s episode with an announcement on Twitter.
Fallon and his staff are always known for coming up with some terrific games for the show’s guests. Now that I think about it, all I want on Monday night’s episode is some kind of competition that pits Belichick and Tom Selleck against Edelman and Joe Jonas.
