Saturday Night Live returns with an actress and singer who are making their debut on the show tonight.

Kristen Stewart will join a growing list of first time hosts to appear on the 42nd season of SNL tonight, joined by Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara, who will also be making her debut on the NBC program. So far this season, the show has welcomed such entertainers as Aziz Ansari, Dave Chapelle, Margo Robie, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Felicity Jones, Casey Affleck, John Cena, Benedict Cumberbatch and Emily Blunt, all of whom presided over the long-running sketch series for the first time with varied results.

Stewart appeared in a pair of promos for this week’s episode, including one where she and cast member Beck Bennett wrote songs for each other, and another where Leslie Jones unsuccessfully tried to get Stewart and Cara excited about appearing on the show, after mistaking them for Keebler elves.

In preparation for their SNL debuts, Stewart and Cara both appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, where the Twilight actress threw footballs at glass panels painted with her and Fallon’s faces on them alongside rapper Big Sean in a competition against the late-night host and The Roots’ Tariq, while the singer impersonated several musicians during the “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” including Ariana Grande, Lorde and Nicki Minaj.

Cara also revealed that she had predicted that she would one day appear on Fallon’s show during a tour of the studio several years ago, and once tweeted about her desire to be on SNL, leading her to express her wish to voice a character in an animated film in the near-future in the hopes that it would one day come true like her prior predictions. The 20-year-old R&B artist, who signed to Def Jam Records in 2015, is best known for her singles “Here” and “Scars to Your Beautiful” off her album Four Pink Walls, which both topped the U.S. pop charts.

Saturday Night Live airs at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
