Vin Diesel tries out for Carpool Karaoke on Late Late Show

Action actor Vin Diesel stopped by the set of The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday, and he wants an opportunity to make an appearance on Carpool Karaoke.

The classic Late Late Show with James Corden segment Carpool Karaoke has become so popular that just about everyone is interested in making an appearance. Some of those celebrities interested aren’t even musicians apparently.

On Wednesday night’s episode of The Late Late Show, Corden was joined by action actor Vin Diesel, who is doing a media tour as he promotes the upcoming xXx movie, xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

During the interview with Diesel, Corden brought up the actor’s cover on Men’s Fitness as well as his desire to no longer have to constantly stay in shape. Diesel revealed that he once had to eat a bucket of ice cream a day to gain weight for a role, and he admitted that it was incredible.

The conversation then turned to Carpool Karaoke, and Diesel admitted that he would love the opportunity to drive in a car with Corden and sling along to just about anything, including some classics from Oliver Twist. You can watch the entire segment in the YouTube video below.

Although he is almost always playing roles in action movies, Diesel seems to be a genuinely entertaining and humorous guy away from the silver screen. He may not be an established musician like a lot of the guests on Carpool Karaoke, but I’m sure that there are plenty of people interested in seeing Diesel in the Late Late Show segment.
